24 Hours | 7 Days Per Week
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Maternity Nurse will provide highly specialised newborn care for twin babies, within a prestigious Royal Household, supporting a VIP family member during the postnatal period. The role requires advanced neonatal expertise, exceptional discretion, and the ability to work in a fully immersive 24-hour environment, ensuring the baby's safety, wellbeing, and structured development from birth.
Qualifications And Skills
- Recognised Maternity Nurse certification
- Infant First Aid & CPR certification
- Relevant childcare or nursing qualifications
- Proven newborn care training
- Experience with twins highly regarded
- Excellent references from private families
- Excellent neonatal experience in UHNW, royal, or private family environments
- Calm, refined, professional demeanor
- Exceptional attitude, behaviour, and presentation
- Fluent English essential
- Fully flexible and comfortable in a 24/7 care structure
Key Responsibilities
- Physical care of the newborn including feeding, settling, bathing, and sleep structuring
- Full night care including bottle feeding and monitoring
- Communicating with parents regarding all aspects of infant development
- Accompanying baby to medical appointments when necessary
- Traveling with the family domestically and internationally
- Preparing for holidays and family visits
- Maintaining all baby equipment including sterilizers, car seats, prams, etc.
- Ensuring nursery hygiene and safe sterilisation protocols
- Maintaining and tidying accommodation provided
- Supporting and coordinating with the permanent Nanny and household team
ACCOMMODATION
Shared bedroom with the baby
Independent private unit within the premises for personal downtime
SUPPORT STRUCTURE
The role is supported by a fully resourced Royal Household team. Dedicated assistance and logistics support are provided to ensure the Maternity Nurse can focus exclusively on newborn care with full peace of mind.
TRAVEL
International travel may be required. All travel logistics handled by the Royal Household.
